Ashei Khan is a Detroit-born visionary — a director, writer, and producer who turned raw hustle into motion picture.
From the underground rise of The Come Up to the chaos of Hood Chicks, Drugz & Strippers, and Grand Theft Auto: Murder City, his films capture the heart of the grind: ambition, betrayal, and survival.
What started with a handheld camera and a trunk full of DVDs evolved into a multi-series cinematic universe known as New Detroit — a space where real people become characters, and characters become legacy... and now New Columbus: Merchant Town.
